How can I become a member of Lake Murray Baptist Church?

The first step to becoming a member of Lake Murray is to recognize that you have run your own life and are separated from God.  You need to turn from your own way and to Christ, believing that He died in your place.  You must let Him become your Rescuer from sin and make Him your Boss, Ruler of your life.  By professing your faith in Jesus Christ, you can become a member of Lake Murray Baptist Church.  Following this decision, the next step is to follow Christ in baptism by immersion as a symbol of your new life in Christ and as a picture of identifying with Christ and His body.

Another way you may become a part of our fellowship is to come by transferring your church letter.  This means that you may move your membership from another Southern Baptist church.

The third way that a person becomes a part of Lake Murray Baptist Church is to come by statement.  This means that you may not remember when or where you invited Jesus Christ to take charge of your life and to forgive you, but you know that it has happened.  You also have been baptized by immersion as a symbol of your new life in Christ.
