Missions

Local

We believe missions are very important at Lake Murray Baptist. We support the cooperative program which sends 5,000 missionaries around the world and over 4,000 missionaries in our country. We not only support international and national missions, we are also involved in our area through associational missions, where we cooperate with other Southern Baptist churches. We also have short-term mission trips each year.

Local Missions

Lake Murray Baptist Church is committed to reaching our world by taking the message of Christ, not only in word, but also in deed as we strive to share God's love. We partner with other ministries and agencies in our area by our church members involvement. We are involved in ministries in Lexington, Richland and Saluda counties working with the homeless, incarcerated, women in crisis pregnancies, children’s shelters, women’s emergency shelters, food and clothing pantries, ministry to Hispanics and others in need.
